We are excited to announce that the on-site construction of Montgomerie Park Primary School has officially begun with a groundbreaking ceremony attended by Nik Shala representing jmarchitects.
Working in collaboration with the Robertson Group, the ambitious £24m Passivhaus primary school project for North Ayrshire Council, developed by hub South West Scotland, has now broken ground. Officials from North Ayrshire Council, supported by eager local pupils, marked the commencement of the project, signifying the outstanding collaboration between us, hub South West Scotland, and the full design team including Atelier Ten, Blyth & Blyth Consulting Engineers, ECD Architects, rankinfraser landscape architecture and Deanstore.
Montgomerie Park Primary School is set to be the first in the region constructed to Passivhaus standards, a significant milestone in North Ayrshire Council’s drive towards net-zero. We look forward to updating you on the progress of this project that embodies a sustainable vision for the future generations of learners.
