This Mental Health Awareness Week we are focusing on ways to tackle anxiety in the workplace. Our Mental Health First Aiders are here to offer support if staff are struggling with anxiety, whether this is work related or not.
Anxiety is a common issue that people face with regards to their mental wellbeing. Often, the most effective way of managing this is simply by opening up and sharing how you are feeling.
Our Mental Health First Aiders are striving to achieve improved mental health, break stigma, and create a workplace where everyone’s mental health matters. They can provide confidential support and guidance to all jmarchitects staff with any mental wellbeing difficulties they may be experiencing – whether this is work related or not. They are also able to signpost staff to alternative services that can provide additional support aid in achieving better mental health.
We are continuing to develop our commitment to the wellbeing of all our staff and are expanding our team of qualified Mental Health First Aiders through training with MHScot Workplace Wellbeing CIC.
