
Maggie’s St. Bart’s with Steven Holl Architects named Supreme Winner at the Surface Design Awards.
The Surface Design Awards names the best and most impressive use of materials within Architectural Projects. Maggie’s St. Bart’s was named supreme winner, having been shortlisted in the Public Building Exterior category. The colourful exterior with matte white glass and coloured glass fragments is expressed horizontally across the facade.
It received great acclaim from one of the judges, Christophe Egret stating : ‘You really feel that a person dealing with cancer might feel elevated in this space.’
