jmarchitects have been named ‘Education Architect of the Year’ at the 2019 BD Architect of the Year Awards. The national award was presented last night at a ceremony at the Park Plaza Hotel in London.
Managing Director Brian Thomson was there to collect the award:
“I am delighted to accept this award on behalf of jmarchitects. As a practice we are driven to deliver the best possible education spaces for young people across the UK. We have gained expansive experience across the education sector over the past 15 years and this award is testament to the talent, creativity and dedication of those in our organisation as well as the wider professional teams within which we work.”
Our guiding ambition is to make education buildings and environments that create healthy, inspiring spaces and places for learning. By observing places, cultures and contexts we create unique solutions which build on best practice and our ongoing research. In this way our projects become integral parts of their diverse communities and provide a range of environments that support the needs of the individual and the wider community.
