We would like to thank the Association of Dundee Architecture students for allowing us to take part in their Semester One Lecture Series. Patrick Chiara presented a catalogue of jmarchitects’ works along with a short lecture on how as a practice jmarchitects develops projects from competition stage through to a completed building. The lecture focused on how design concepts are developed and further strengthened through research and refinement.
The presentation was well received by the students who are keen to learn more about our process and we are currently investigating how we could run a series of workshops with the students.
jmarchitects are keen to continue our collaboration with the students at Dundee University, helping bridge the gap between university and practice by creating a platform for discussions to take place.
As a practice we are always looking for ways to helping others and we encourage anyone who would like to get involved to get touch.
