 The refurbishment of four floors of offices within this high profile Grade II* Listed building to create around 30,000 sq. ft of high quality, contemporary commercial space.

The works include forming a remodelled office entrance and reception area on Tottenham Court Road and replacing the existing retail entrance serving Heal’s and Habitat with sympathetically designed new entrances within the  historic shopfront. 

The project also involves the restoration of several key elements of this listed building including the staircases, windows and glazed lifts. The project achieved a ‘very good’ BREEAM rating.

The Challenge

To sympathetically restore the interiors of this landmark building to create high quality modern efficient commercial space, whilst the retail spaces below remained occupied.

The Solution

A careful and sensitive design enhanced the many original features of the building requiring close working and cooperation between the design team, constructor and the heritage authorities.

The Outcome

A series of beautiful unique and varied spaces which enhance the best qualities of the original building in a prominent location whilst creating modern comfortable and low energy work environment.
