We are pleased to announce that proposals for a new single stream primary school and early years facility in the Hawkhill area of Winchburgh have been formally submitted for Planning Permission.
jmarchitects are pleased to announce that we have recently submitted a MSC Planning application for a new single stream primary school and early years facility in Winchburgh, West Lothian. The new primary school will provide space for 231 pupils and 42 early years places, with the ability to expand in the future if required. We are delighted to be continuing our successful collaboration with West Lothian Council, following on from the recently completed Holy Family and Calderwood Primary.
jmarchitects look forward to continuing to work with West Lothian Council, Hub SE, Morrisons and the wider design team on another innovative education project.
“We are pleased to be continuing to work closely with West Lothian Council to deliver innovative, exciting, and engaging learning environments. A key requirement of the brief was to create open planned teaching spaces, an enhanced connection between the nursery and primary pupils and opportunities for outdoor learning. The project focusses the more enclosed spaces to the ground floor, freeing up the upper level for open plan teaching unified by a continuous, open pitched roof volume.”
