jmarchitects London studio have submitted proposals to LB Wandsworth planners for the development of small housing site on a complex corner at the junction of Earlsfield Road and Algarve Road in Wandsworth. The new scheme that consists of seven 1 and 2 bed flats over four floors will address the issues of a troubled site that has stood empty for many years.
The corner development is intended to sensitively maximise the site while responding to the surrounding roads and boundary conditions, positively contributing to the urban fabric. The new homes are all intended as Shared Ownership.
“jmarchitects have worked for Optivo on several Wandsworth projects and delivered homes in Wandsworth and directly for the borough for a long period of time. The scheme at Earlsfield Road allows us to continue that commitment towards delivering high quality homes, understanding the boroughs needs, and refining our understanding of Optivo’ s delivery requirements.
We believe that this carefully crafted small corner project, will be a valuable intervention in the street scape and deliver seven exception new homes for London.”
