Dunbar Grammar School is holding a ‘Doors Open Day’ on January 26 following completion of a £10 million extension.
The School finished works at the end of the year, following completion of the L-shaped extension and alterations to several areas of the existing building, including the science labs, drama studios, technologies rooms and modern languages classrooms. The new extension building provides a home economics department, learning resource centre, pupil support suite and staff offices. Externally the new spaces include a full-sized all-weather sports pitch and social hub space.
The new building and refurbishments have received much praise from the students and staff and the School is opening their doors on the 26th of January for students past and present, their families and the community to come and see the new School. We hope to see many of you there tomorrow.
