Construction is underway on Boho X, a new £20m digital landmark commercial building in Middlesbrough.
The new commercial building will incorporate 60,000ft2 of Grade A office spaces, all set in a vibrant urban quarter for people to live in, play in and enjoy. Boho will enable people, businesses and ideas to connect, interact and engage; a neighbourhood brimming with energy, excitement and vision.
Recently appointed Galliford Try North East & Yorkshire team have started works on site, but also they have set an ambitious target of spending 80% of the costs within the local supply chain, and creating employment opportunities for local entrants into the industry and engagement targets for nearby schools, colleges and community groups.
“This is a fantastic project, which we at jmarchitects are very pleased to be working on. The ambition from Middlesbrough Council and BCEG to attract and retain world leading tech companies to the area is fantastic to see.”
