We are over the moon to announce that jmarchitects have been awarded a place on the CHIC (Communities and Housing Investment Consortium) new eight-year Framework.

CHIC is a collaborative, not for profit, member owned and governed consortium that delivers compliant procurement solutions and commercial support to their members in partnership with the supply chain.

CHIC’s Newbuild Framework provides a comprehensive solution to deliver all types of development related works and services to help tackle the housing shortage. It caters for a wide range of project types, from small infill and garage sites to large estate regeneration projects including newbuild, refurbishment/retrofit and cross subsidy housing for sale. It also provides MMC solutions including fully modular, frame & panel and turnkey options.

Members of the procurement consortium of more than 60 housing associations and local authorities can access the framework via mini-tender or direct award.

jmarchitects were extremely pleased to hear that our values and experience are recognised and align with the values of CHIC. Working across a wide range of sectors; investing in our teams to be well trained and rounded architects, we intend to share our skill base, collaboratively delivering exemplary projects and exceeding expectation as we proceed.  Our directors look forward to meeting the CHIC team in Birmingham and to nurturing the relationship in the years to come.”

               – Philip Ives, Director, jmarchitects

“This framework offers our members an inclusive approach, encouraging innovation, efficiency, and social value outcomes. We believe it will help our members to deliver their new build developments efficiently, setting a gold standard for the industry.”

               – Sarah Davey, Head of Development, CHIC

We could not be more thrilled to be a part of this exciting new venture!
