We are delighted to announce that Castlebrae Community Campus has been handed over and the pupils are in!
This fantastic new building for The City of Edinburgh Council replaces the old Castlebrae High School in a more prominent site in Craigmillar Town Centre, forming one of the final pieces of a 20 year long regeneration project to improve housing stock and community facilities in the area.
Pupils were welcomed back to the new Castlebrae Community Campus after the Easter holidays and have spent the last month becoming familiar with their new education environment. The feedback so far sounds positive! You can follow along with how the staff and pupils are utilising the new school on the Castlebrae twitter account.
Whilst we allow the pupils and staff some more time to settle in before we take our professional photographs we will leave you with these fantastic images of the Lego version of Castlebrae Community Campus, cleverly constructed by Ross Robinson-Brown from Morrison Construction.
