We were honoured to be invited to the opening ceremony of Bolton Central Library yesterday. It was amazing to see the outcome of the Library layout and how the space has evolved with the bookshelves and furniture being in place. We are delighted to have been part of the team that had the opportunity to deliver this project and would like to thank Bolton Library for having us there. Also, we would like to thank Robertsons, Creative Core, Sutcliffe and Ameon who also did an amazing job in delivering this project. Now it is time to let the Library flourish with people and get lost in the words of books.

The council’s vision for the Bolton Library, Museum, and Aquarium (BLMA) project is to enhance one of Bolton’s most popular cultural institutions. The BLMA has been at the centre of civic and cultural life in Bolton for almost ninety years. This redevelopment will transform and reconfigure the library floor of the building to form an exciting new creative and cultural space. The key objectives are to provide a modern library offering flexible space for community groups, artists, partners by creating spaces which will enhance the operation of the building and reflect the modern use of the libraries.
