October marks the start of Black History Month, a time to celebrate and remember African and Caribbean heritage, peoples’ achievements and contributions to the British economy, culture, and history.  The theme for Black History Month 2022 is ‘Sharing Journeys’.

There are a variety of ways to observe the month, we have highlighted a few events in our local areas that we believe embody this year’s theme and commemorate Black History Month. If you are in the areas why not stop by and enjoy all that Black History Month has to offer.
