Significant strides are being made at Ballindean Road, Dundee, as our residential development project progresses successfully. With works commencing in September 2022, the project is on track to deliver a total of sixty-seven new properties—forty-three houses and twenty-four flats—later this year.

At the beginning of this year, jmarchitects conducted a site visit to Ballindean Road, revealing the significant progress. During this visit, we observed that a substantial portion of houses now proudly stands, showcasing completion in both external envelopes and internals. Simultaneously, the block of flats has also begun to take shape, marked by the installation of the timber kit and windows, as well as the initial setting of blocks for the external wall.

The development has been designed to embrace a Net Zero Carbon strategy and ‘fabric-first’ approach, in which will not only minimise energy consumption but also reduce operational costs, contributing to a lower carbon footprint.

We are delighted to be working as part of the team to assist the ongoing construction process and look forward to completing a fantastic development for the North-East of Dundee.
