The Forfar and Carnoustie Early Learning & Childcare Centres are currently nearing completion. The new facilities for Angus Council feature bright playrooms with lots of natural light, direct access to the external play spaces and large canopies to maximise outdoor learning opportunities. The centres will provide a high-quality learning environment with flexible and accessible spaces. The Forfar facility is adjacent to the Forfar Community Campus, another jmarchitects project. Combined, the two early learning centres will have capacity for over 380 children as part of the council and the Scottish Government’s ambition to provide 1140 hours of funded childcare per year.
