Proposals for the new Alness Academy have been granted planning consent by the Highland Council. The new Academy will replace the existing school and will provide learning accommodation for 600 pupils. The proposals include the provision of high-quality sports, performance and shared learning facilities for use by the school and the local community. Construction works are due to start on site in the summer. The project is being delivered in conjunction with Hub North Scotland and The Highland Council.
