61 Curzon Street
61 Curzon Street is a new eight storey office and retail building located on a prominent corner site in the heart of Mayfair, containing 20,000 sq. ft flexible office accommodation. The proposed design provides a well-lit, shallow plan, column free space designed and arranged to provide flexible and very high-quality office accommodation.
The project started on site September 2019 with Blenheim House as the main contractor. Construction has progressed well despite the difficulties of COVID-19 and its location, with a target completion date of June 2021.
The masonry wall reached level six and looks fabulous and truly as it was designed. The design of the façades is both contextual and contemporary and reflects the rhythm and proportion of the adjacent Georgian Listed buildings in Bolton street. The dark grey brick and Portland stone detailing are characteristic of some of the most handsome and dignified buildings in Mayfair. As on photos below/above the stone’s fins and cill has been inserted and protrudes out from the dark Flemish bond brickwork.
All the concrete work is now completed, and the Units placed on the roof. The zinc cladding works of the seventh floor are about to start.
